STARTING FALL SEMESTER, 2008Paralegal Certificate PlanCourse Offerings and Strongly Recommended Schedule for Paralegal Program Students With a Prior Degree and Liberal Arts Courses Completed Who Plan to Start Fall Semester. All of the paralegal required courses are available during the evening, and most are available during the day except the summer courses are at night only. All courses are held on campus at Inver Hills or online (with an orientation and proctored tests on campus). The Paralegal Certificate Plan is the fastest way to complete our paralegal coursework. Students may feel free to take the courses at their own pace and comfort level which may be one or two classes at a time. Fall Semester, 2008PA 1102 Introduction to Law and Contracts - 4 credits Spring Semester, 2009PA 1103 UCC and Business Organizations - 4 credits Summer Session, 2009
PA 2204 Probate - 3 credits Fall Semester, 2009
PA 1112 Legal Writing and Analysis - 3 credits It is recommended that PA 1189 (Paralegal Internship) be taken after all Paralegal Program specialty classes are completed. However, PA 1189 may be taken concurrently with other paralegal specialty classes if the internship supervisor and the program director concur.
