"A characteristic of successful students is that they utilize campus resources and get involved."

This section highlights several resources that are designed with our students in mind. One of the qualities that sets IHCC apart from other colleges is that we have lots of support to help you succeed. In addition, this section highlights activities that will help you gain skills, acquire experience that may be necessary for your future employment or transfer plans.

There are lots of opportunities for students to get involved and get connected. Feeling connected means that you begin to feel like you belong here at IHCC and that this is YOUR college. There are several benefits to being involved. Research indicates that students who are connected are more likely to reach their goals and succeed in college. Students get connected by forming study groups, meeting other students, working on campus, visiting an instructor during their office hours or by becoming involved in one or more college activities.
