Clubs and Organizations
There are a number of clubs and organizations at IHCC. In addition to the following organizations, IHCC has an Art Club, Biology Club, Black Student Union, International Student Association, Math League, Nursing Club, and more.

Phi Theta Kappa
PTK is a national honor society of academically achieving students devoted to scholarship, services, leadership, and fellowship.

Music
IHCC has the Inver Hills Community Band available for students to play in. In addition, Inver Hills Choir is available for students to take as a credit class.

FORUM newspaper
The college's student newspaper, the FORUM, covers campus news, issues and student opinion. It is free to students and is an excellent place to get hands-on experience in the field of journalism. A faculty advisor teaches various journalism techniques and assists students in publishing each issue. A lab section is available for college credit.

Student Senate
Student Senate is the officially recognize representative of the student body. Members of Student Senate represent student opinion on college committees and policies. The members lobby locally and nationally on behalf of students and also provide a student voice to campus faculty, administration, and staff. Students volunteer for this organization and do not need to run for office.

Student Activities Budgeting Committee (SABC)
Students participating in the SABC are responsible for managing an annual budget derived from Student Activity Fees assessed to each student that attends IHCC.  They help to decide what your student monies will fund, allocating budgets for student clubs and special request for college events and celebrations.

Theatre
Each semester, a major theatrical production is staged by the Theatre department. Students have opportunities to participate in all aspects of the theatre. Students can participate for credit or on a non-credit basis.
