Credit for Prior Learning and Advanced Standing

Students with prior education and industry certifications may apply related learning toward degree requirements in one of the following ways:

1. 1. Through an advanced standing agreement with a high school local Cisco Academy program. CCNA and A+ courses, up to 16 credits may apply depending on year earned and curriculum version.
2. Transfer of equivalent college courses from other accredited colleges are accepted as a matter of normal academic policy.
3. Credit for specific I.T. certifications that correspond to our program courses may also be used for credit toward the degree. Students must have regular admissions status at Inver Hills and be pursuing one of our credentials. The policy with exam numbers and credit equivalencies are in this PDF document.
