CPR Healthcare Provider Recertification
This class is for those currently certified in CPR, but need to renew certification.
Objectives:
- Verbalize the signs and symptoms of a heart attack and stroke.
- Perform CPR on an adult, child, and infant including 2-person CPR on an adult and child.
- Ensure an open airway in a conscious and unconscious patient (adult, child, and infant).
- Understand the use and need for a barrier when performing rescue breathing. Explain the need and overall use of an AED.
