Medical Terminology I

This is an overview of medical terminology, giving the person beginning a health career or a person who wishes a refresher the basics of learning terminology. The seminar is not intended to be sufficient knowledge to replace a credit course of terminology.

Objectives:

To become familiar with the importance of medical language at work and for personal use.
To learn the importance of prefixes and suffixes in understanding medical words.
To study anatomical structure and diagnoses of the musculoskeletal, respiratory, cardiovascular and gastrointestinal.
