Basic ICD-9-CM Coding
This class is intended for persons beginning the coding process. Participants will need the 2008 ICD-9-CM Coding Manual so please bring it to class! Includes lunch and handouts.
Objectives
- Learn "Hands-on" coding of diagnoses and procedures.
- Learn guidelines for coding, retrieval of data and experience coding a variety of diagnoses and procedures.
