Vista Wireless Printing

This is a guide to help you get wireless printing set up on your Windows Vista based laptop. Make sure that you have set up your wireless connection for the schools network. Directions to do so can be found here. Your documents are printed in the Open Lab in the Library Building.

Please note that the printing services are provided to support your course work and college-related tasks. Please do not use the printing services for other documents.

1. Click the Start buton.

2. Enter \\134.29.183.212\openlab in the search box at the bottom with “Start Search” in it. Hit Enter.
3. A dialogue will pop up asking for a username and password. Use your I-NET account with ihcc\ before your username (so ihcc\username) for login.
4. Printer appears like this in Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Printers:

5. \\134.29.183.212\openlab is now the default printer. To change default setting, right click any printer and chose “Set as Default Printer”
