Learning Spaces

Computer Lab

Located on the 1st floor of the Library building, the Computer Lab provides the most comprehensive collection of technology for student use. When possible, the college installs the software used with classes in the Computer Lab for student use outside of class sessions. The facility has 50 computer stations.

The Computer Lab is not scheduled for class sessions and provides computers to support course work and learning in a first come, first served manner. The Computer Lab is staffed by employees prepared to provide technical assistance with all technologies provided by the college and is, therefore, the best place for students to go for assistance with technology.

Classrooms

The college has six classrooms designed and equipped to provide each student in a class a computer to use during the scheduled class session. The computer classrooms in the Business building are not available for open or unscheduled use by students, but the computer classroom inside the Library can be used if it isn't being used for a scheduled class. Instructors interested in using a computer classroom for periodic basis can make a request with the administrative support staff in the Liberal Arts building.

Learning Center

The Learning Center is on the 2nd floor of the Library building. Both the Writing Lab and the Math Lab are part of the Learning Center and both have computers available to support their instructional support needs. Occasionally the computers in the Learning Center are used by classes or tutors, but generally those computers are available for unscheduled use.

Offices

All employee offices are equipped with a networked computer installed with common office applications.
