COMPLETE SCHEDULE OF WORKSHOPS 8 am-7 pm, Wed., February 21, 2007 (10/10/06)

Please register in "HH" ("Heritage Hall") to get
(1) your name badge admitting you to sessions and (2) this schedule with room numbers.

Classes on Student Success Day are changed to the events below. 
(Only off-campus, fully-online, and ASAP courses meet as normal.)

and Technology.)

SPECIAL FEATURES:

Academic and Career Counseling: Drop in anytime 11 am-6 pm, 2nd floor CC building (above Cafeteria).  See also sessions by Mike Stebleton at 11 am and 12:15 pm.

Alcohol and Drug Prevention Awareness Day: See events at 11 am, 12, 1 pm, and 5:15.  See the Crashed Car on the Mall outdoors all day.

Books on Sale: See the bookstore 9 am-5 pm for 20% off on books related to student success.

College Transfer Fair: Check out the tables of 20 colleges/universities at  the College Transfer Fair, HH 203, 9:30 am-1 pm.  See individual sessions at 10 and 11 am.

Free Food: Donuts, rolls, juice, coffee, et al., 8-10 am, HH lobby.  Pizza & pop, 11:45 am-1 pm, Cafeteria, and 5-6 pm, HH lobby.   Popcorn, 10:30 am-1 pm, HH lobby.  Lemonade & cookies, 2nd floor CC bldg. Human Services Transfer Fair: Check out the tables of 6 human services programs at transfer colleges/universities in HH 306, 1-2:30 pm.

Individual Sessions: 9 am, 10, 11, 12 noon, 1 pm, 2 pm (a few), 5 pm, 6 pm (a few)—on basic & advanced skills, careers/disciplines, health, technology, and more.

Keynote Speaker: Kevin McKinley, Keynote Speech at 10 am (FA Theater) and 6 pm (HH 203).  Workshop at 2 pm (HH 203).  Meet McKinley and discuss his keynote speech, 11 am, FA 150.

Music Events: Attend a session on performance anxiety at 2 pm, HH 307; and a classical guitar performance at 3 pm in the Library foyer.

Nursing: See "Advanced/Disciplines, B 212" at 9 am, and see the bottom of each hour's box for events at 11 am, 12 am, and 1 pm.  Also see the evening "Do the Unexpected" Schedule, 5 pm.

Paralegal: See the bottom of each hour's box for Paralegal events 11 am-6:45 pm.
