WHAT ELSE HAPPENS IN THE MATH CENTER?

Gateway Testing Some instructors require students to complete a Gateway or Competency Test.  The Math Center staff may coordinate these tests.  See any Math Center staff member for details if your instructor assigns this test.

Borrowing Materials
Math Center resources such as reference textbooks, solution manuals, and supplies may be used within the Math center only.  Ask any Math Center staff member for help if a resource is needed.  Each item must be signed out.  To check out videos and CD ROMs, visit the Circulation Desk in the IHCC Library.  The Check-out time for these materials is either 2-hours or overnight.

Tutoring
The Tutoring Center is located adjacent to the Math Center.  Students may make weekly or biweekly appointments for one-on-one tutoring sessions with a Peer Tutor.  Call LouAnn at 651-450-8693 for information or to schedule an appointment.
