What do you like most about being a Counselor at IHCC?

The opportunity to meet and work with such a diverse and interesting group of students.

Tell me a little known fact about you...

I have spent time in Iran and Korea.

If you could give one piece of advice to an incoming IHCC student, what would it be?

You do not need to know exactly where you are going but give yourself permission to be open to new experiences.  I believe in Planned Happenstance. 

Who is your favorite musical artist?

Motown: Smoky Robinson, Aretha Franklin etc.

What are your hobbies?

Painting, reading, travel

What is your favorite thing to do on a warm sunny day?

Go to a lake, go out on a boat

What is your favorite childhood memory?

Driving vacations in Upper Peninsula of Michigan with my family

Where did you grow up?

Ferndale, Michigan a working class suburb of Detroit.  My parents grew up on farms.
