NOTE: The following hours and schedule are in effect when classes are in session, September-May, call 651/450-8508 for Counselor availability during the summer.
Hours
The Counseling Department and Career Development Center area is open from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday -Thursday and Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Appointments
Appointments can be scheduled by telephone (651-450-8508) or in person (College Center). Appointments are available from 9:00 am to 6:30 pm Monday -Thursday and Friday from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm. Student files and transcripts are available during Counseling appointments. Appointments need to be scheduled at least one day in advance and may need to be scheduled several days in advance during registration periods.
Walk-in services
If you have a quick question, counselors are available for "walk-in" time. The counselors do not have access to student files and transcripts for walk-in assistance. Walk-ins are typically available between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm on Monday through Thursday and from 9:00 - 12:00 on Friday. For today's walk in availability, call 651-450-8508. If you have a question for a counselor, do not forget you can use the Ask a Counselor service!!
A Note about Crisis Assistance....
In an emergency or crisis situation, call or stop in the Counseling Center for immediate assistance or call 911. Click here for or local crisis assistance.
