Help for Students who forgot their D2L Password

• Go to IHCC web Site
• Click the Online Inver Hills
• Click the D2L log-in link
• Click forgot password link (in the login box)
• Enter 8-digit IHCC Student number (the user Name Textbox)
• The D2L Password will be sent to their Metnet E-mail account

For Students who forgot their Password for their MetNet E-mail Account

• Go to www.metnet.edu
• Click E-mail Login
• Go to Forgot your password? Change it here
• Enter Your Internet ID, (IHCC username)
• Enter Your Tech ID
• Click Submit

NOTE: This will only work if you set up the secret question when you set up your metnet e-mail account.

Help for Students who forgot their IHCC Account Password

• Go to the Computer Lab located on the 1st floor of the library building
• Present a photo ID to the Lab Staff
• The Lab Staff will have you type in a new password
• Log into a computer before you leave to ensure your new password is working
