BIOL 2202 Anatomy & Physiology II (MTC 3a)
4 credits; 3 classroom hours/week; 2 lab hours/week.


Primarily intended for students in nursing and allied health fields and non-biology majors. Study of anatomy and physiology of the human body with special emphasis on the body as a functioning whole, the relationship of structure and function, and homeostatic mechanisms of the body. The biological concepts of meiosis, genetics, and molecular genetics will be discussed. Systems covered: cardiovascular, lymphatic, immune, respiratory, digestive, urinary, electrolytes, and reproduction and development. A fetal pig dissection is required. Prereq.: BIOL 2201. F,S
