1107 Biology of Women

 

BIOL 1107 Biology of Women (MTC 3a)

3 credits; 3 classroom hours/week; 0 lab hours/week.

    Intended for non-majors and majors. This course is designed for women and men and provides a "theme-based" course for learning biological concepts. Objectives include studying reproductive anatomy and physiology of both sexes, studying pregnancy and fetal development, and examining issues related to reproductive biology and women's physical health. Issues include contraception, cancer, menopause, and treatment of women by the medical profession.
